How I made my first wire art..!!

Hello there. Hope you are doing well. I thought of documenting all the things I do which I'm passionate about. So I'm writing my first blog ever about how I made my first wire art.

Firstly, it all started when I thought of indulging myself in art rather than sketching as I made couple of sketches and didn't excite me to make further. And also so many people were good in sketching and I thought it was not my piece of cake.

Then I came across a profile on Instagram the._storyteller where I saw a wire art and I thought, damn!thats so cool, let me just try once.

Here is the wire art I saw on Instagram( ig link
The process
To start with, I wanted to get a reference, be it the things I see in the surroundings or any posture of a person in sports, dance etc. So I surfed the profile of my dance teacher Suraj Kumar and I finally got a pic for inspiration.
Then I took the binding wire at home which was bought when we were constructing our house.
Then I grabbed a nut to make head of the body.
First I started to do the skeleton of the body. It looked really weird and I started thinking if I could really get the result I wanted. Then I started adding more and more wires and wound it around. Finally when I looked at it, I was more satisfied. In fact I was overwhelmed by the result.

Then comes the next challenge. To make it  balanced and stand on a surface! I used every possible materials I had in my room to make it balanced but it was too heavy for the objects I used. Finally plywood came to my rescue.
I cut the plywood to the size I wanted and painted it.

Then I took a clamp I had and and fixed it to the plywood.

The result
How amazing it looks, isn't it?

After this one, I made more wire arts but since the title is 'how I made my first wire art', I'll stick to that.

Thanks for reading. Hope you liked it. Until next time, bye.
